It will be financed through the company's own funds as well as international banks under state guarantees, according to a press release from the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Facts<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>On Monday, December 4, DTEK signed a memorandum with Vestas, a leading global wind turbine manufacturer, regarding the completion of the wind power plant. This project is supported by the European Commission and the governments of Ukraine and Denmark.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The document was signed at the UN Climate Change Conference COP28 in the presence of European Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson and Ukraine's Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The memorandum outlines that the Danish company will supply wind turbines to Ukraine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>DTEK stated that construction of the second stage of the wind power plant is expected to start in the second quarter of 2024 and be completed by the end of 2025. The gradual connection of the installed wind turbines to the grid is anticipated to begin at the end of next year.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Context<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The first stage of the wind power plant, with a capacity of 114 MW, was commissioned in the spring of 2023. The second stage will consist of 64 wind turbines (6 MW each), with a total capacity of 384 MW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total installed capacity of the Tiligul WPP will reach 500 MW, and the total investment in the project will exceed \u20ac650 million.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a
